Rob Bowman 1950-2009
We regret to announce that hydrology professor Rob Bowman of New Mexico Tech passed away on 6 June, surrounded by his family. Dr. Bowman was known around the world through his scientific contributions, particularly on surface-modified zeolites. A long-time professor at the Earth and Environmental Science department of New Mexico Tech, he has mentored many students and was very active in the natural zeolite community.

Mineral sands developer Olympia Resources has appointed Dr James Searle and Keith Vuleta to the board of directors and Ildiko Wowesny to the position of company secretary, following Andrew Beigel stepping down to fully focus on his role as chief financial officer.
