The upturn in Chinese zircon demand continues this month as consumption in the world’s largest ceramics producer and exporter rises.
Recently released figures show that zircon imports climbed by 12% in September to reach 56,800 tonnes. This is an improvement again over the August figure of 50,000 tonnes, and confirms a definite upward trend in Q3.
