Prices for Chinese acid grade fluorspar, a material used to produce hydrofluoric acid and a range of refrigerant chemicals, have dropped lower over Q4 as Chinese exporters push to use up export licenses within the valid term, industry participants told IM.
Latest prices for acid grade fluorspar (FOB China) have been quoted some $20-30/tonne lower this month at $250-300/tonne, compared to a previous published price of $280-320/tonne.
