Beacon Hill Resources PLC, the AIM listed resource company, has submitted an application for a mining lease for its Arthur River magnesite project in north-west Tasmania. The company is also in joint venture discussions regarding a calcination plant.
The application was filed through wholly owned subsidiary Tasmania Magnesite NL and represents the first stage in a process towards enabling Beacon Hill to commence mining at Arthur River by the end of 2011.
