As discussions get underway for 2010 chromite contracts, price levels in the European market are difficult to pitch, according to reports from IM market sources.
Sources have reported price increases – some accepted, some rebuffed – and subsequent sales lost as suppliers and buyers negotiate.
“There is no stability in the market at the moment” commented one importer to Europe.
