Kenmare Resources PLC increased production at its Mozambique mineral sands mine by 22% in Q4 2009 against the preceding quarter, with the group expecting a rebound in demand for pigments in 2010.
Heavy mineral concentrate output rose to 280,200 tonnes from 230,000 and the Moma mine is now operating at full capacity, the Ireland-based miner said.
