Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc. reported net profits of $243.9m. in Q4 2009, down 69% from the same period a year earlier owing to severely reduced demand for fertiliser minerals.
Net profit for 2009 plummeted 72% to $987.8m., with the group selling less potash by volume than any year since it became a publicly traded company in 1989.
