BHP Billiton PLC has agreed to acquire Canadian potash exploration group, Athabasca Potash Inc. for C$341m. ($320m.), the Anglo Australian mining major said.
The deal has been approved by API’s board of directors and is now subject to a vote by security holders and shareholders set to take place in March.
