Kenya Fluorspar has no definite plans to reopen its idled 100,000 tpa fluorspar operation in June this year contrary to reports in the local Kenyan press, managing director Nico Spangenberg told IM.
Kenya’s Daily Nation newspaper had reported this week that the company would reopen its plant as market conditions for acid grade fluorspar show signs of recovering and prices have started to increase.
