In the fertiliser markets, spot prices for potash were given a boost this week as BPC announced a $25/tonne increase for both standard and granular grades.
Elsewhere both K+S and PotashCorp are increasing prices in March as demand for potash picks up, particularly in Brazil, but also in Europe.
More positive signs in the marketplace this week as the titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment producers look to a more positive 2010.
