Agrium Inc. has reported a sharp decline in Q4 2009 profits as prices for fertiliser minerals plummeted from the previous year’s levels.
The Canadian agricultural group’s net earnings dropped 76% to $30m., while sales were $1,501m., representing a 24% decrease from Q4 2008.
