Prices reaching levels seen at 2008 peak due to ongoing bauxite shortages in China

Prices of Chinese non-metallurgical grade bauxite and brown fused alumina (BFA) have continued an upwards trend over the past month, reaching levels seen at the peak of the market in 2008 amid ongoing bauxite shortages.In China, prices of BFA have risen sharply.
