Magnezit Group is investing in an expansion project at Slovmag AS, in Lubenik, Slovakia, which is aimed at strengthening the Russian magnesia and refractories group’s position in Europe.
The project is scheduled for completion in 2011 and will increase production at Slovmag by up to 25,000 tpa MgO-C bricks, 5,000 tpa of of MgO bricks, 15,000 MgO-Cr bricks, and 10,000 of MgO-spinel bricks.
