A new European source of rare earths, titanium dioxide, and zircon appears set to come on stream in Turkey, exploiting a huge resource in the geologically complex Isparta Angle hosting some 2bn. tonnes.

London-based AMR Resources Ltd, through subsidiary Madencilik Isletmeleri San. ve Tic. AS, Istanbul, is advancing its Aksu Diamas Project which it has been evaluating since 2007.
