Feldspar mine and plant to close as demand falls from TV cathode ray market

Norway-based Sibelco Nordic (formerly North Cape Minerals AS) is to close its pegmatite mine in Glamsland, near Lillesand, in Q2 2011 owing to falling market demand for feldspar.
