Global refractories producer RHI AG has promoted former chief financial officer Henning Jensen to CEO, following the resignation of Thomas Fahnemann in August 2010. Jensen joined the group as CFO in January last year and was assigned, in addition, the position of spokesman for the management board after Fahnemann’s resignation.
The group’s management board is now served by four members: Henning Jensen, CEO; Mark Eckhout, CFO; Giorgio Cappelli, COO Steel division; and Manfred Hodl, COO lndustrial and Raw Materials divisions.
How will you approach the position of CEO at RHI?
I have been with the company since the beginning of 2010 in other words a little bit more than one year. My approach for management positions is always a fairly generalist and operational approach not only focusing within my own area of organisational responsibility.
