South Korea’s KCC Corp. and Mutajadedah Energy Co. (MEC) have agreed to jointly invest $380m. into building a polysilicon plant in Saudi Arabia by 2014.The plant is expected to have an initial nameplate capacity of 3,350 tpa of solar grade polysilicon, which is used in the solar power industry in the form of ingots and wafers to make solar cells.The companies’...
