Vancouver-based i-minerals inc. has announced a series of collar locations for 15 additional drill holes at its kaolin-halloysite-quartz-potassium feldspar Kellys basin deposit in Idaho, USA.
The primary clay is comprised of an aggregate: halloysite, kaolin and metakaolin and i-minerals reported an estimated inferred minerals resource of 28.4m tonnes at Kellys Basin in late 2010.
The purpose of the drilling is to upgrade the first 10 years of production under the mine plan from current probable reserves to proven reserves.
