Prices for key mineral sands zircon, rutile and leucoxene have all strengthened for the coming quarter, reflecting ongoing strong demand and tight supply across the board, leading producers told IM.
For the coming quarter, zircon sand prices (FOB Australia and FOB South Africa) have risen to a range of $1,500-1,600/tonne, up from $1,300-1,400/tonne during the first quarter. This includes standard and premium grades.
