Japanese glass and LCD producer working to restore operations after disaster

Asahi Glass Co. (AGC) is working to restore operations in northern Japan after the earthquake and tsunami on 11 March knocked several plants offline, the Tokyo-based group said.The company said it had redirected glass inventories and shipments from Japanese plants outside the affected area and in other countries to try to prevent supply shortages of architectural glass.The disruption to Japan’s glass, liquid crystal display...
