Kerneos

Calcium aluminates producer Kerneos has appointed Chris Parr as vice president of product development, and a member of the management committee, succeeding Laurent Frouin who has been appointed innovation director of parent company, Materis Group.

Parr has more than 25 years’ experience in the field of monolithics and has been with Kerneos for 15 years, where he previously held posts in the marketing and technical departments. He is a member of the American ceramic society, the Institute of Refractory Engineers, and has authored more than 60 technical papers. Parr is also a previous winner of the Wakabayashi award in Japan.

What will be your chief objectives in your new role?

I aim to continue the strategic direction that Kerneos embarked upon a number of years ago and continue to drive organic growth through a differentiated offer with innovative solutions and the penetration of new user segments.
