North American Salt Co. and Sifto Canada Corp., both subsidiaries of Compass Minerals, have announced price increases for de-icing salt products, effective from 2 May.
The group announced a price increase in North American salt prices in December last year, hiking prices by $9/s.ton on average for sodium products, not including de-icing salt.
