Measurement device based on impedance tomography monitors froth bed content

New imaging technology developed by Numcore Oy, Finland, is aimed at increasing the efficiency of flotation processes in mineral concentration plants by enabling operators to monitor internal processes in real time.

Measurement devices based on impedance tomography create real time 3D images from inside the pipelines and tanks used in mineral processing plants. In particular, this has enabled improved control of flotation processes used in mineral concentration plants.
