Saudi group Ma’aden makes first magnesia shipment to Europe

Saudi Arabia’s much evaluated and long-promised source of magnesia has finally come to fruition and is expected to hit the European market in early June.

Saudi Arabia’s much evaluated and long-promised source of magnesia has finally come to fruition and is expected to hit the European market in early June.

The news will certainly silence some of the sceptics, of which there were more than a few at IM’s 5th MagMin Conference held in Madrid, Spain, 16-17 May, who questioned whether the operation had even come on stream yet.
