Canada’s Plains Creek Phosphate Corp. plans to start producing phosphate rock by the end of 2013 at its Farim deposit in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa.

“We target a production of 2.16m. tpa of phosphate rock, starting in September 2013,” Plains Creek president Glenn Laing told IM at the Africa Resources Investment Congress in London.
