Mozambiques government wants to revise its 2002 mining law in order to give the state a share of projects in strategic sectors, according to press reports.
The new law, which would replace the Mining Law of 2002, would intend to give the state the right to take back concessions not developed within a certain period, said Bloomberg, quoting Mineral Resources Minister Esperança Bias at a conference in Maputo today.
