Greek miner S&B Industrial Minerals more than doubled its operating profit in the second quarter of 2011 as end market demand continued to recover.
The bentonite, perlite and bauxite producer posted a second quarter operating profit of 11.8m. ($8.3m.), up from 4.1m. in the same period last year. Sales increased 8.8% to 118m.
