Synthetic graphite jumps on shortage; bromine prices to stabilise in second half

A shortage of material caused synthetic graphite prices to jump this week, with tightness in the market expected to continue.

The price for synthetic graphite (fine, 98-99%) has increased to $1,000-1,200/tonne, CIF Asia, up from $950-1,000/tonne previously.
