Demand stable globally but prices expected to rise at the end of the year

Suppliers of soda ash into Middle Eastern markets told IM that demand for the material is relatively stable - with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia showing strongest demand growth.
“There was a drop off in demand 18 months ago in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for soda ash due to the economic downturn and its impact on construction in the region,” one Indian-based soda ash supplier said.
