Prices of silica sand and kaolin produced in Vietnam are set to rise again over the coming months as a result of ongoing soaring inflationary cost pressures, exporters have told IM.
A representative from an export company based in Vietnam told IM that export prices of silica sand will increase from 1 October.
Silica sand is used in the production of glassware and also in oil and gas exploration, where it is used for fracking.
