RHI AG appoints Franz Struzl as its new chief executive officer following Henning Jensen’s surprise resignation on 7 September 2011

Henning Jensen, the former CEO of RHI, was appointed as recently as February 2011. He resigned 7 September 2011.

The world’s leading refractories producer, Vienna-based RHI AG, has appointed Franz Struzl as its new chief executive officer following Henning Jensen’s surprise resignation on 7 September 2011, after just seven months in the job.

Jensen informed the supervisory board of RHI of his resignation from his function as CEO, with immediate effect.

RHI was unable to comment further on the reasons for Jensen’s departure, other than stating: “It was on his own request.”

Although unexpected, the supervisory board accepted his resignation and appointed Franz Struzl new chairman of the management board with effect from 8 September 2011.
