Group to mine talc and calcite; targets plastics and paints following 2012 start up

ML Minerals is looking to start production at its 85m. tonne talc and calcite deposit in Morocco, situated 80km west of the city of Ouarzazat, in late 2012.

ML Minerals is part of the Reuben Associates group of companies who are also the owners of the UK-based steel and raw materials trader Metalloyd, which will be responsible for the project’s marketing.

 The majority share holders in the project are David and Simon Reuben, famous for the metals and minerals empire that they have built in CIS countries.
