RHI AG has signed a contract to acquire Ireland-based Premier Periclase Ltd (PPL) for €21m. ($15.7m.), the Austrian refractories major announced.
PPL is one of the world’s few producers of seawater-sourced high purity dead burned magnesia (DBM), which is mainly used in magnesia-based refractory bricks and monolithics.
