Reuben Associates is developing its talc and calcite Nkob deposit, situated 80km west of the city of Ouarzazat, Morocco. Reuben Associates also owns UK-based steel and raw materials trader Metalloyd - the body which will be responsible for the Nkob projects marketing.
The majority shareholders in the project are David and Simon Reuben, known particularly for the metals and minerals empire that they have built in CIS countries.
The group has earmarked late 2012 for the production of talc and calcite at its 85m. tonne Nkob deposit, and it looks to ramp up production to 400,000 tpa talc and calcite by 2016.
