Russian fertiliser manufacturer PhosAgro is considering plans to merge two of its subsidiaries, phosphate-based fertiliser producer Ammophos OJSC, and ammonium-based fertiliser producer Cherepovetsky Azot OJSC, the company announced.
The planned transaction would create a new company that assumes all the rights and obligations of the two subsidiaries, PhosAgro said, adding that the reorganisation is expected to complete in July-August 2012.
