Russian magnesia and refractories producer, Magnezit Group, is in the final stages of completing a new magnesia processing line at its production complex in Satka, Chelyabinsk, in Russia.

The integrated producer is commissioning a hi-tech facility for fine-dispersed grinding of magnesia raw materials.

The new milling line represents part of the second phase of investment in the Satka periclase clinker complex, which amounts to roubles (Rb) 270m ($8.6m).

Installed plant equipment includes a grinding ball mill with separator supplied by Germany’s Hosokawa Alpine AG.
