Prices for chromite sand may increase after Chinese New Year, but off now

There is no shortage of chromite sand for the foundry industry is the message IM is hearing loud and clear from the market this week.
Traders involved in the market all over the world revealed that chromite sand prices are reducing as metal prices fall off. The trend in prices looks likely to continue into the New Year.
We are seeing prices offered by South African and Turkish companies as below what is currently mentioned elsewhere, one China-based trader told IM.
