Canada Fluorspar Inc. (CFI) has announced the passing of its director and one of the company’s founders, A. Gordon Stollery on 12 December 2011 at the age of 64 while on vacation in the British Virgin Islands.

CFI said that Stollery “served as a highly valued member on the company’s board of directors, making significant contributions during his tenure and will be dearly missed”.

“Gordon made a significant impact on CFI and the business community in general. Without him CFI would not be where it is today and his patience and dedication to the project since 1996 is nothing short of remarkable,” commented Richard Carl, executive chairman of the company.
