A new study by the European Commission has reinforced the EU’s plans to sharply increase recycling of costly minerals from industrial waste, leading to “significant” benefits in prices and availability, while contributing to environmental objectives. 

 

The paper’s call for action is presented in terms of economic growth and job creation in the 27 EU countries.
