Marifil Mines Ltd has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire the Filo Morado potash property in Neuquen Province, west-central Argentina, the Canada-based company announced.
Filo Morado, now re-named K-5 by Marifil, comprises 14 claims totalling 30,100 hectares (301km2) and is bordered by Brazil’s Vale SA $4.6bn Rio Colorado potash project on the east, and El Porton potash deposit on the north.
