Supply Situation Report: Sulphur sees stability through 2012

After the slowdown of 2009, world production of sulphur in all forms has increased slightly during the last few years to an estimated 69m tonnes in 2011 from 67.9m tonnes two years earlier, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS) which believes that it “is likely to steadily increase for the foreseeable future”
