Saskatchewan-based Agrium Inc. has been fined $420,000 for a workplace accident that killed an employee, according to CanadianBusiness.
A report found that the death of 59-year-old employee Edward Artic, who died in 2010 working as an electrician at the company’s Vanscoy potash mine, was preventable, adding that conditions at the worksite did not meet provincial standards.
