Rockwood subsidiary buys 100,000 tpa TiO2 former Tronox asset

Sachtleben, a joint venture between Rockwood Holdings Inc. and Kemira Oyj, is acquiring the production assets and inventory of German titanium dioxide (TiO2) producer crenox GmbH.

The main production asset is a 100,000 tpa TiO2 plant which will bring Sachtleben’s total capacity to 340,000 tpa.
