Leading US mineral processor Cimbar Performance Minerals (CPM) is poised to significantly expand its processing capabilities for barytes, talc, and ground calcium carbonate (GCC) in the US and China.
CPM has just announced completion of a significant expansion project at its plant in Wellsville, Ohio, in which a new milling circuit has increased production capacity of the facility by an additional 400,000 s.tpa.
The expansion brings the total production capacity of the plant in excess of 650,000 s.tpa, which will supply drilling and industrial grades of barytes, as well as talc filler grades and food grade GCC.
