Canada-based Lithium Americas Corp. will produce 10,000 tonnes lithium carbonate in 2015 and ramp up to 20,000 tpa by 2017, according to a new definitive feasibility study.
The company is also intending to produce 40,000 tpa potash, which it will start in 2017, from its brine pools for an estimated CAPEX of $45m.
