US Silica Holdings Inc., the US’s second largest domestic producer of silica sand, has joined hands with BNSF Railway Co. (BNSF) to build a new 15,000-tonne storage facility in San Antonio, Texas, US.
The move is intended to support rapidly growing oil and gas extraction activity at the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas.
