Australia-based zircon explorer Sheffield Resources has begun drilling to estimate a mineral resource for a region of its Dampier project that has an exploration target of 450-850m tonnes grading 5-10% heavy mineral content.
The exploration target for this Thunderbird prospect is based on previous Rio Tinto drilling in 2004 and 2009 that discovered mineral assemblages of 8%...
