Leading industry and research associations yesterday came out in joint support of legislation to establish a secure supply chain for so-called strategic minerals, which include rare earths.
The bill in question is Bingaman-Murkowski substitute amendment to the Critical Minerals Policy Act 2011 (S 1113).
