The fertiliser markets saw a boost this week as crop prices in the US grew as the result of a drought.
Vale, for example, this week reported a 14.9% hike in revenues quarter-on-quarter, owing to the increase of sales volumes of almost all of its phosphate products.
Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan also said that the drought had boosted demand.
