Sales of US-based salt and speciality fertiliser producer Compass Minerals continue to be hindered by the trailing effects of 2011 and early 2012 weather, the companys Q2 2012 results revealed.
Net earnings for Q2 were down to $9.5m, or $0.28 per diluted share, compared to $14m, or $0.42 per diluted share, for the same period in 2011.
